The Tierras y Aguas records use the "M" (and to several others with the same last name) and the Guadalajara also use the M the farther one looks. By the way, my V(M)iramontes seem to have ties to Tlaltenango. One of the Tierras y Aguas records mentions a path heading over the mountains from La Villita in Jalpa to Tlaltenango. Plus I think one of the sons of Jose Christobal was born in Tlaltenango in 1714.
